A Beeb should easily have enough spare capacity for that. I have
almost always had my 6502 2nd Processors powered that way, and my Z80
is like that now. In fact, for many years, I had a 6502 and a Z80
bolted together using PCB support pillars, with a double-throw
centre-off switch between them, on the links. That way I could have
either or neither turned on. If you're wondering how I got both
connected to the Tube at the smae time, I crimped a 40-pin IDC header
onto the Tube ribbon cable for the 6502, and plugged the Z80's Tube
ribbon into that.
