Personally I always find wikis rather hard to navigate and contribute to; we
tried one for a while for discussing new museum plans and it was just too much
effort compared to more traditional methods.

Is 8bs officially dead then? Or merely resting? Last I heard some things were
being rewritten I think but there were no plans to shelve it.

I think the problem is knowing where to start. Good searchable archives of
this list would perhaps be a lot better as the contribution essentially
happens automatically and users can find answers to their specific questions
(I can't imagine anyone casually browsing either mailing list archives or a
wiki! :)

cheers
