Anyone with one of those LCD monitors that has
picture-in-picture capability (PIP) can have a Beeb running in a
little window while they're doing other stuff on the main
screen. It's only in b/w (unless you do the comp video colour
mod) but that suits me for most purposes. You just leave it
plugged into the monitor's comp video input and you can switch
the Beeb in and out at the press of a button on the control
panel.

Alternatively, get a graphics card with S-video input and use
the S-Video mod that's been suggested by a number of
contributors. Both of these routes will give you much clearer
definition than using say a UHF input on a TV card.

BTW, I can report that the Beeb/PIP screen looks particularly
cool ;-)
