Subject: Using PC flatscreen with BBC?

Hi,

Yes you'll need a PC TV card - rather than the graphics card (at least I
think so). You can buy USB tv-tuners that essentially do the same thing.
I suppose with the card version its less clutter on the desk.

The TV card allows you to connect a standard TV aerial and tune into the
signals, so it basically allows you to watch TV on your PC. There's nothing
stopping you plugging the BBC in and retuning. That's what I'm attempting to
do pretty soon but I haven't decided on the card yet. Hauppage(?) do a cheap
card called WinTV Express, which you can buy for about £30.

I am not sure of how to use a PC graphic card with the BBC.
I personaly use an external TV tuner with YCbCr input.
BBC RGB signals directly wired to YCbCr connector
then from the tuner's menu you can correct display colors
to make them properly displayed (more or less.)

Cheers
