Subject: [OT] Where's the love?

I think the love seems to have died along with those who were really
committed to dynamically increasing new component/peripheral support
for the BBC.  People, to my memory, have rallied around those who want
to guard valuable contributions capitalisically and miserly; and those
who dare to suggest a way of working that benefits everyone and brings
it into the 21st Century, get their e-mails deliberately misread and
accused of running hate campaigns.  There are a few really committed
Beebers left on the list whom I admire for their contributions and
support, for hardware and the emulation.  I wish there were more of
them co-operating to provide widespread support, and I had the time and
money to be one of them.  And the expertise...
