Well I still haven't had any of the offending emails at all to date.
I'm not going to even try and explain why some have and some haven't but I
certainly know that my ISP does not delete anything at all from my mailbox.
Their Spam filter only marks suspect emails by adding the word Spam to the
subject line so that I may peruse them and decide if I want to delete them
myself.
I could guess that someone reading the archives or trawling them via a
program of some sort may have selected some for possible Spam and, as I do
not post that often, missed me off their list.
I haven't looked at the archives but it does seem very odd that not everyone
got them. As far as I know, I get everything that is posted to the list - or
at least I haven't noticed any missing by way of replies without an original
mail.
I really don't know enough about the workings of the list to make anything
other than a "best guess", sorry.
If anyone would like to post the dates that they received them and the
subject, I will happily check all my messages in my own archives (I don't
often have a clear out) just in case I have missed something (marked it as
"read" without looking at it or similar).
