I suppose logically within the UK it'd require one up north somewhere (Leeds 
area maybe), one down south (Guildford or something), and then maybe on in the 
Cambridge area, just because it's the beeb's home and so there's a high 
concentration of Acorn collectors in the area.

You know, it'd be interesting (to me anyway!) to know how many non-UK members 
the list have, and what countries they live in - I wonder if there are any 
surprises...

I wonder if there's a way of saying "ditch any signature longer than the 
accepted norm of four lines, but keep otherwise"? That should allow people 
some individuality whilst getting rid of the corporate monster sigs that some 
members have no control over. It wouldn't surprise me if it's a feature in 
some of the more popular mailing list software.
