Hmm, I met a chap a year or so ago who has the source code to the MDFS server 
(bizarrely enough, it's sitting *on* an MDFS server :-) I need to give him a 
prod as it was surplus to his requirements back then (along with the pair of 
A500s that he had), but he needed to find the time to wipe any personal data 
from everything first.

Well reminded, anyway - I'll chase that one up in the coming months.
