Subject: BBC to VGA monitor converter

Hi All,

A while ago I purchased a bulk load of "VGA Boxes" that allow you to plug a
50/60Hz composite signal into a VGA monitor - the only caveat is that the
monitor has to be able to handle the input refresh rate. Eizo T57's are
good for those of us with 50Hz devices like Beebs and video games :-)

I still have about a dozen left if anyone wants wants one (just pay
postage - probably a few quid) or collect from Stevenage - PM me if
interested.

To be honest, they aren't brilliant quality, but they do work...

Regards,
JohnA.

Someone was asking about using a PC type 60 Hz VGA monitor with
a Beeb a while back. I see Maplin are doing a deal on one
currently for ?39.99.

It's actually for CCTV cameras (which normally feed into a 50Hz
VCR input or TV-type monitor) but I suspect it would convert any
50Hz comp video signal to 60Hz VGA regardless of source.
