Funnily enough I've just outlined a possible solution to this issue for
someone via private email just over an hour ago. I haven't tried it but
basically using ADFS Explorder and DFS Explorer just copy the AFORM program
across from the library folder to a DFS image, the using DFS Explorer put
that onto a DFS disk.
In DFS (obviously) type *AFORM. The formatter will start. Then swap for a
blank disk and follow the on screen prompts, Voila !
As the formatter uses the lower level 1770 routines and not DFS as such you
can format an ADFS disk whilst DFS is the current file system.
I've just given it a try using BeebEm, seems to work a treat :)
