I'm pretty sure I've never seen a ROM for it, but I'll let you know if a
soft copy shows up.  One of the 3-pin wafer headers is labelled "ROM
ON/OFF" which suggests that the ROM might have been an optional extra:
it's conceivable that it was an option that never ended up being
actually used.

Feel free to come and pick the board up whenever suits you.
