I assume you mean the TRS-80 Color Computer, which is completely
different from the rest of the TRS-80 range. (The '80' came from the
Z80 CPU - the CoCo has a Motorola 6809!)

will make them compatible, except that the CoCo has a serial port and
the D32 has a parallel port.

I had a bunch of Dragon machines that I played with, but only ever had
a 16K CoCo that was a 'collection' machine; i.e. I never really used
it.
