Subject: BASIC error message - "Mis..."?

Hi,

Me again playing with the BBC FPGA implementation. A quick question for the 
gurus here...

If I type a syntax error, I get "Mis" printed and the system hangs. Is it 
trying to beep at me or something? Is that likely to cause a hang? I didn't 
think there was any handshaking required with the sound chip?!?
