I agree with you, the Plus 3 is wonderfully over-designed. It looks
smart, and is really robust, but was significantly more expensive and
less capable than the competition! From a vintage computing perspective,
however, this lack of capability is not at all important, I just like
the look of the thing.

The manual is a bit unclear on this, and mentions both single- and
double-sided versions of the unit. However mine is only single sided.
