In case anybody wants any parts, I have a couple of dead Cubs too.
Both have been used for parts - both have no triplers (used to replace
ones that drifted off focus), one won't power up because it keeps
tripping a safety link, and there are some other minor bits missing
(resistors used to replace others that went open circuit, etc).

I've got another one at home in my loft that won't power up at all -
I've had it for maybe 15 years like that, and I can probably fix it
with the bits from the two dead ones above. Only I can't get to that
part of my loft any more...
