A gentleman on this mailing list told me in a private email that one
can buy a set of replacement keyswitches on eBay for a few pounds.
They're called Acorn Electron. ;-)

I also have a Master with a few non-working keys, but I haven't come
as far as trying to restore them. Shouldn't it be possible to pull
them apart and clean those keyswitches, or is it not a failsafe way
to make them work again?

Pardon me for mentioning it, but Commodore's keyboard mechanisms tend
to go on forever. Very easy to take apart, clean and restore if needed.
Recently I fixed a 1978-ish PET keyboard from almost dead to very good
condition by just letting all the keycaps take a bath in dish-washing
liquid and wipe off the contact edge board.

All the other brands using micro switches - that includes Atari, Acorn
and many more - seem to me in comparison like a nightmare to restore.

Best regards
