Subject: Composite colour mod for Master 128
I've always added the composite colour signal by adding the little capacitor.
I think this works for issue 2 as well as issue 1 boards. The issue number is
printed in the bottom right of the motherboard below the cartridge slots.
Other tell-tale signs of an issue 1 board in my experience (though these are
unlikely to be conclusive) are a lack of the additional cut-out in back panel for
the Domesday SCSI cable across the modem hole, and a geniune Western
Digital disc controller as opposed to a VLSI one.
Here's how I add the composite colour:

Best wishes,

some marking like "ISS.1", I'm guessing this means Issue 1 board?
Mine says "Iss.2" on the component side of the board between the Tube
and 1MHz Bus connectors. That's certainly the issue number.
> c) *IF* I have an issue 2 board, where is LK11? I did a manual search across
the board, but I couldn't find it (probably looking straight over it knowing
my luck!!)
The Master I'm looking at right now has LK11 located south-west of the
RGB socket, immediately south of C28 and surrounded on the south and
west sides by resistors, immediately west of the empty "SIL3". It
doesn't actually have a pin header fitted, so it would either need
that doing or just a piece of wire soldering across it.
