I would imagine that one of the several IDE interfaces would do the
job nicely. ? A quick google doesn't reveal anybody having done it,
although Sprow's pages come up where he suggests it's a possibility.

I would think it's fine for the driver; a bigger problem might be
memory to store the larger block sizes.
