Will the ADT ROM do this? I know it will for floppies (I've used it
recently to copy something so I could use it on an Electron Plus 3),
it might be worth a shot.

Try www.bbcdocs.com. However, the other day I wanted a Master manual
and the link on the site points to 8bs.com which no longer exists - I
found a link to the manual on the archive of 8bs, I can't though
remember whose site it's hosted on!

I don't know the answer to this, but I wonder if dsd files are just
like two ssd files concatenated, so a little bit of programming could
split them in two. I can't remember if the image files are the size of
the whole disk (easy to split, i.e. exactly in half) or only as large
as the files on the disk (harder).
