Not surprising, given the fact that Acorn had to completely
re-engineer the whole thing in order to export it to the USA and
Germany. (I once had a repatriated US unit minus the upper shielding
plate.)
After the USA export failure thing I don't think they bothered with RF
shielding any more, which probably explains why the Master is also
very noisy when Acorn clearly knew how to make stuff that wasn't.
