Thanks for correcting me on that, I only wanted it to write an ADFS
floppy which it wouldn't do! I ended up using BeebEm and a copy of the
ADT ROM to do what I wanted. The other thing ADFS explorer doesn't
seem to do is import .INF type archives; I had to read the .INF files
and set the load/exec addresses manually on each file - before I
discovered that I couldn't write the image back to disk!

I've got one Beeb serial lead (which I took to Byte Back just in case,
but never needed). I've always wondered why they chose a socket design
which can go in either way round. Is it so you can reverse the Rx/Tx
wiring by rotating the plug, or does it only work one way round?
