Subject: RISC OS Memory Allocation Question

Hope this is allowed on here - is there a * command or similar
method of allocating a specified amount of RAM to the next application
or utility to be run?

For instance, if I am in Supervisor mode and I want to start BASIC with
only half of the available RAM (e.g. 2MB on a 4MB machine) would there
be a way to do this?
