Alex, out of interest, what is the motherboard that worked?

Yes, I do it with my work computer. The main caveat being that writing
DFS disks is entirely dependent on your motherboard, due to many
floppy controllers not supporting the single-density (FM) mode
required. I once swapped my board to gain an extra PCI slot and it
broke the DFS writing ability, and I ended up swapping it back again.

ADFS should always work because it uses the same double-density MFM
encoding as the PC's DOS format floppies.
