I haven't got my spare BBC PSU here and I can't remember the part
numbers/component sizes, but I'm sure I ordered mine from either CPC
or Maplin. I think I've also pulled a few out of broken CRT monitors.

No. You can just leave the blown one in, or remove it (the smell
lingers for ages otherwise). Although this will allow electrical noise
onto the mains, so it's probably a good idea to replace it anyway -
they're not expensive.
