Subject: x2 capacitor replacement
Hi.
X2 100nF : RS 210-500
X2 10nF : RS 311-1024
220uF 16v 105oC : CPC CA04933 (Startup and -5v)
Those are suggested suppliers and part numbers for best cost, but the startup
cap you can get virtually anywhere. Best to replace those 4 for maximum
longevity, and any other electrolytics that look bulged or where the plastic
cover has shrunk. The -5v smoothing is 100uF on a Beeb PSU and 220uF on a
Master, best to use a 220uF, helps to curtail some speaker background noise.
Check for dry joints too, especially on the HV side.
Mark.
