Ah! I wonder if it's something to do with the SRAM module. In the early
days of testing these modules, I did have one or two problems with them
causing unusual side effects on Station 128 depending on where I connected
the probe. If I hooked it on to the 8271 I think that caused the most trouble.
I've got it on the 7002 now and it's been fine for years, so perhaps that's the
best place to attach it. I've never had any reports of problems from anyone
who's bought one though.
Best wishes,
Ian

And here are the results for you, it is indeed 8K. :) , I've saved that
routine as it looks quite handy, thanks Mike.
(8K) NET
(16K) DFS
(16K) BASIC
If it helps, this machine has a 1770 (Watford) based Disc interface, an
Acorn 1770 2.26 Rom, factory Econet (going from the serial number,
although when I got it it had no NFS rom at all but everything else was
present) and one single 16K ram chip.
I added the NFS rom (it did not have one fitted for some reason,
although Econet works great on this machine, a lot lot better than my
net only Issue 3) , and I added one of Ian's Sideways Ram chips recently
too.
Andy.
