I'd like one again as well, and interestingly, a link back to Beeb hardware.
Whilst I was at school in the early eighties, when we got our first BBC
Micro, we used the disc storage facilities of the RML 380Z using MACE, a
network system that uses the RML to serve BBCs.

It worked very well, for storing our O level projects on the RML 380Z. 

Later it was replaced by what I think was called a Hobbit tape system, which
used micro-tapes, similar to voice recorders.
