I've just built my own z80 machine - always wanted to, but what to do with

On a slightly more on-topic note, I remember seeing somewhere that a z80 PIO
can be made to "do Econet" does anyone have any details or pointers as to
where to start, I want to join in all the Econet/ethernet fun!
