On the beeb there is a set of links near the econet socket, a made link 
is a "0" (I think), should be easy to work out which end is which from 
the current number and looking at the links.

The arch, you need a copy of setstation, I have a copy somewhere, not 
sure if I've seen it on-line (probably is, most things are).
