Dismantle the machine, put the plastic bits in the bath, then use
washing up liquid and warm water on the plastic bits. Wouldn't go much
over 50 Celsius, the plastic might warp. A cheap "10 for a quid" type
disposable toothbrush works wonders for getting muck out of gaps,
crevices and corners. If you're dealing with a B, be careful around the
"ashtray" (the push-out bit near the keyboard cutout).

For the keyboard, take a few photos of the layout with a "conveniently
located" digital camera (or scribble down the layout if you don't have a
camera), remove the keycaps and chuck them into a bucket. Hot water,
washing up liquid and a good scrub. Vacuum the keyboard PCB to get any
dust, fluff and bits of food (!) out, then put the keycaps back on.

If any of the parts have yellowed, you may want to try "Retr0bright".
Basically peroxide and Oxy cleaner.

I think that just about covers it...
