That's true, but unfortunately eBay has a massive audience which comes
in handy when selling things.

I often sell stuff on eBay to appease SWMBO (due to my hoarding of
stuff) and raise money. It would be nice if they didn't charge so
much, but I don't know how much money I'd make if I used any of the
alternatives, some of which many not have anybody actually looking at
them.

Plus it's sometimes a good laugh, like the bloke who keeps relisting
his untested PowerBook 180C (without charger) for ?65, when it's worth
a fiver at most. Although I would actually like to buy that off him
for a fiver, so it's also annoying.
