Subject: eBay auction prices

Hi,
I suppose prices depend on who selling.
There are a lot of collectors who have hoarded lots of stuff and are selling
for high prices.
Also may people seem to be jumping on auctions and you see floppy drives
going for excess of ?150 and BBC's in excess of ?200.

I managed to pick up, recently, a complete OAK PC Case and Keyboard for a
BBC for ?15 and a
BBC B+ 128 and some drives that need some attention for ?60
I was also given a CPU board system and modules called an EMMA II.

> Has anybody else noticed the general increase in prices for BBC equipment
on eBay since Micro Men came on TV? I think a lot of people have got caught
up in nostalgia and have gone out searching for a tidy BBC B; there was a
BBC B 128k on there recently that was over ?150 the last time I looked...it
wasn't that long ago I got a real nice one for just over ?50.

would have loved to have snagged that one, last time I looked it was ?80+...
