Subject: L3 FS

I seem to remember having that error with using L3 via floppy discs, it
was rare, although its quite possible I have mixed it up with the
verification error that old floppy discs can give on L3.

I'm probably way out here, but when you initialised partition 0, what
did you put in for "next drive?" , and the same question for partition 1
too.

Logic would say partition 0: next drive = 1 and partition 1: next drive:4

If you want to re-initialise partition 1, try putting 4 in when asked
about the next drive.

I wonder (although slightly off topic) , how easy that information is to
change on an existing partition too, as I'd like to at some point
(typically I will use just one partition and choose 4 for next drive)

Although not terribly helpful (sorry) , I'm hoping it may give you a
couple of ideas / thoughts. :)

Andy.
