I had no idea such a thing existed - it sounds fantastic.

I do have an X-series cable I made myself, so I can load programs
directly from a 500MHz laptop I pinched from work, running 64HDD.

Ages ago I had my son and one of his friends playing a game (a plane
and a boat trying to shoot each other) on a Philips Videopac, laughing
their heads off because it was such good fun. These are kids who are
normally used to the PlayStation 2. I'll have to try him with some Vic
games. He's already tried some Beeb games - people may have spotted
him playing Podd at Byte-Back :-)
