Certainly not since Kevin put me on to the Thunderbird tweak... Thanks
Kevin!
It's a shame to patch our mail software to work around a list issue, but
- hey - life with electrons is a non-stop act of juggling what should
happen with what does happen. Hehe, one day my printer might actually
print pictures like they look onscreen instead of how IT feels they
ought to look. :-)

It would be nice if he replied to mails regarding list settings... but
no, there's no reason for him to be "active" on the list if he doesn't
want to be. Who knows, maybe he is lurking, just reading this stuff?
That's allowed too!

Errr, and where do you suggest *IF* this happens we go to find the info
for the new list? Just wait a month and Google it? BeebWiki?
BeebWiki might be an idea,
http://beebwiki.jonripley.com/BBC_Micro_Mailing_List
however the external links (to http://nelsonit.net/~jon/ ...) are all
404s. Assuming, of course, somebody updates the wiki.
Best wishes,
Rick.
