You sure you aren't thinking of CNN International in the old analogue 
days? They carried a lot of Reuters stuff and premium information 
services which required a decoder box.

Damn - on a harddisc somewhere, or tape?, I oughta have a copy of some 
of these pages. I did wonder about trying to decode them until I 
realised I'm nowhere near good enough at maths to pull that off...

...and if I was, I think I'd rather try to work out how the RAI Uno 
"telesoftware" works.
