You know you might be right there.. I know it was a satellite channel.
(And some of the foreign channels had some alternate form of teletext
that tripped one of our tellys into a different mode to display it,
which messed up the UK teletext when you switched back...)

It could be using data lines (lines 25-31, not displayed on screen)but
not understanding a word of what it says on those pages I'd not really
want to hazard a guess.
