Some of the many variants of "couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery" 
are pretty good...

"Couldn't organise a piss-up in the middle of a brewery, when given full 
instructions to do so, unrestricted access to said brewery, and a convoy 
of lorries loaded to the roof with additional supplies of free beer."
