I think they'd fail at the first hurdle and find themselves ill-equipped to
even get the box open, to be honest. No doubt they'd form a box-opening
project committee equipped with a significant budget, which would then gather
for days on end in a dull beige meeting room to eat lavishly-prepared
sandwiches, only to eventually emerge with the conclusion that dousing the box
in petrol and setting fire to it was by far the best course of action.
I suppose there's a good business opportunity there for the suppliers of the
original "worthwhile programme concept" material, in that they could also sell
"opening your worthwhile programme concept material" material. Perhaps even
"opening your worthwhile programme concept material material", but that might
be gilding the lily somewhat.
(Oh, I still like "couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were
written on the heel" as an expression of utter stupidity - short and neatly to
the point)
cheers
