Subject: Kaboom, and composite video..

Well it had to happen to me eventually .. had my first experience with
the Magic Smoke this evening, from a Master.  Lots of crackling, then
hissing, then smoking!  It certainly made me jump.  I'm glad my wife
wasn't there - she'd have had a fit!  Needless to say, the beeb just
carried on without issue.

Whilst I'm in here ... is there anything unusual, does anybody know,
about the BBC Composite video output?  I've got a little CCTV MUX
(found it, Dave!)  that I was trying to use to display four beebs on
one monitor.   It's fine showing me any one of them, but the mux
display is just all stripy garbage on each channel.  This is with two
Bs and two Masters

(And I've got a master which doesn't display anything... although the
RGB was fine.  sigh..)
