You forgot the hanging, drawing and quartering and the flaying.
I try not to go to the tip, cos I'll come away with something someone
else has dumped. Recently I have been de-cluttering. I've thrown out 4
wheelie bins full of stuff (PCI SCSI and video cards, drums of cable,
wall warts etc.) Our local tip has been overhauled and is much better
laid out but with no chance of a bit of scavenging (you throw your
refuse into skips from a height). Electrical items are placed at ground
level, and the sheer quantity of CRT tellies and video recorders
(hundreds and hundreds of them) is amazing.
