Subject: Testing homemade Master battery pack

Hi

Thanks to JGH's recent giveaway I'm now the proud owner of a Master 128.

It needed a replacement battery pack, so following some instructions I
found
(http://lionels.orpheusweb.co.uk/CompNyb/TechStuff/8-Bit/Master128/128BatConfig.html)
I've made myself a new one. I don't really know what I'm doing though, I
just somehow remembered how to solder things together -- does anybody have
any hints on what I should do to test it?

As far as keeping the CMOS contents around, it appears to work; I'm just
worried about the recharging issue. I was just going to leave the thing on
overnight and check tomorrow that the batteries haven't exploded, or
warmed up any... would this be enough of a test?

Thanks,

--Tom
