I have also heard that the lining will pick up dust particles, and
spinning the floppy disk in the reverse direction may free previously
captured dust and scratch the surface. However none of my C64 flippies
suffered any noticable damage by reusing the back side, so I dunno.

I have two. Actually those sell on eBay for non-trivial money, so if
noone else wants it, you could try to flog it on the 'Bay before you
bin it. I have witnessed several auctions end at relatively perverse
amounts of money. Go look yourself if you don't believe it.
