Subject: [OT] ADSL capabilities
Thanks to Andrew, John, Paul, Mike, Rick, Samwise, Rob and if I've left you
out, you as well, that have replied to my ADSL issue.
46 hours since the last reboot, and no issues, as yet.
G.DMT SHOWTIME 448000 3040000 7.0 49.5
Again to summarise, the issue is intermittent, easily monitored using Router
Stats as the SNR increases to 25+, and Sync speed decreases to zero. But no
pattern, although Sundays are usually good! (But weekends, usually Sunday
23.00 the issue can occur.)
I've been around with a radio with MW and not heard anything with the
electrics on or off, and I don't seem to have any BINs at present above
150+.
I'm told that BT are coming back to conduct RF tests.
If I see the issue again, I will most certainly purchase a Netgear and/or
2Wire router.
Regards
Andrew

I've even see an electric garage door cause big problems. It was downstairs
from work in the big carpark, the modem would disconnect every time it
operated.
