Sorry to hear that, Bob. But you have a duty to make sure your machine
is fully patched and secure. Not just to protect yourself from
keyloggers and password-stealing Trojans, but also to protect other
users of the Internet who may be infected by viruses and malware running
on your box, or by it being used to relay spam.
If your current hardware isn't up to running XPSP3, it's time to
upgrade. FWIW, a bit more memory or a faster hard disk can make a big
difference to an elderly machine.
