I suppose the question is in which format is the disc? 640K would be 
right for a FileStore disc, but would you want to run the stuff for the 
FileStore *from* the FileStore?


You said you wanted to do the images on an A5000 (wasn't it?) - did the 
computer itself not recognise the floppy? I'm struggling to think of an 
800K format that is not D or E (both of which any RISC OS machine will 
read).


Important - for if we can't work out a format, it won't be easy to pull 
data from it!

FileStore's own discs are like ADFS-L but with a different layout 
(AFS0). I've some code to pull files from such discs, and I've no doubt 
I can throw together something a little better in VB if need be...


Can you look using a sector editor? Does it respond as 256 or 1024 byte 
sectors? Is there any ID information in the first few sectors?
