No, and how I *read* them is irrelevent, what is relevent is how they
are fetched and processed for me to read them. I use something on
RISC OS (I'm 350 miles away from my machine), which connects to the
server using something-protocol and then debatches them into seperate
files on the local server for me to read at my leisure. I'm fed up
having to add more and more and more and more and more and more and
more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more
code to the mail debatcher because of brain-dead idiots out there
sending mangles messages. Now I just consider mangles messages to
be a subclass of SPAM, and wipe them before reading. If you want me
to lower myself to reading your emails, do me the curtesy of emailing
me properly.

Takes just as long to read text on a BBC as on anything else. It
only goes through my eyes at a speed set by my own biology, nothing
technological is going to change that.

I have - which resulted in the phone never ringing when somebody in
the Town Hall tried to phone me. When they complained about getting
the "this subscriber does not respond to annonymous calls" message
I just told them to not call me annonymously.

As the Council's IT supply contract specifies that the contractor
decides what the Council needs, the contractor has decided that
not making anonymouse calls is not something the Council needs.

Oh well, not my problem any more. :)
