Is it even a mail client by any modern sense of the term? ;)

There has been a lot less useful content of late (as in at least the last year 
or so), I've noticed. I'm not sure if people are using the hardware less, or 
if it's just that the systems are so well understood now that there's less to 
ask.

All my stuff's still in storage in the UK, where it has been for the last 
three years, so I figure I have a good excuse :-)

I don't like waste - I hate it when people don't trim message replies, for 
instance - but at the same time I don't object if someone sends out an OT 
message of a couple of KB; the way I look at it, it's not like I'm interested 
in reading *everything* that gets posted here, even when it is on topic.  I 
suppose everyone's tolerance threshold is different, though.
