I was beginning to think about saying something about keeping on topic, the
list does seem to have turned into a bit of a social group where people have
got to know each other and so it seems virtually anything goes as far as
topic is concerned.

Perhaps we could try and keep things on topic a bit more and perhaps people
could reply to off-topic items off list.
