Hang on a second, you're happy with computers taking over the job of the
humble letter but not mobile phones taking over jobs from the computer, isn't
that a bit of a double standard?  I'm sure you meant to say high speed data
processing.......

At the end of the day, it's an individual's choice how they receive email
and you'll find the iPhone is easier to use than many computer based email
clients!  I still work with people that insist on using pine.
